So I'm working on some stuff for a 'Ard Boyz tournament this weekend. It is a prime excuse to rush up and try to finish the warhammer 40,000 army I have probably been dragging my feet on the longest - my beloved Space Wolves!

'Ard Boyz 01 - The 'flower' sub-assemblys of the Drop pods, arrayed from when I primed them this morn prior to leaving for work.
'Ard Boyz 02 - A close up on a flower assembly. I swapped out some of the door icons for an aquilla and two viking shields I found online. I've been putting those viking shields everywhere and will be using them to depict unit heraldry.
'Ard Boyz 03 - A close up on my Redeemer redux. I wasn't happy with its last paint job, and since it will take a more central role I went ahead and gave it a once over with the airbrush to get its base paint job up to snuff. It took me all of a minute and a half to paint everything. Fucking awesome. Now I just have the tracks, black patches, then detail work.
'Ard Boyz 04 - On the lower left is the 'claw' assembly, its made up of the main motor and the support pylons. On the lower right are all the harnesses. They were the biggest pain to get together. Center back is a finished product. This time I'm painting them in subs prior to assembly is to ensure A) everything fits and B) if these are the only drop pods I make again, I want them to look decent.
'Ard Boyz 05 - THE GREY HUNTERS ARRAYED! Some have been taken from the ranks, some will get touch ups. I'm putting together a new six to make up the fifth squad in the back. I plan on giving everything a shiner and then mixing up the units so they are all 'even' before giving final pack markings on their right pauldron.
'Ard Boyz 06 - A close up on my Land speeders, my third is in work.
'Ard Boyz 07 - A REALLY shitty close up of my assembled Ven Dread. Even in death he rapes face.
'Ard Boyz 08 - Not sure if I'm going to use him: but for a Lone Wolf I made Teshtego of the Deathwatch. He is a lone Deathwatch commando whose squad has been killed and he was left at death's door. The wolves of Hrothgar's company, seeing his wyrd (fate/destiny) was not yet done brought him to health and allowed him to seek death and glory in the Lone Wolf traditions, Teshtego is all to eager to accomodate. If I use him, I have to re-glue his deathwatch bolter which broke off (sad face)
'Ard Boyz 09 - Teshtego is a member of the Space Sharks chapter, as is illustrated by my hand painted chapter symbol here.
